Melissa & Mike, Glen Oak Country Club Wedding

I first met with Melissa and Mike at a consultation and instantly grew a liking to them! They are such easy going, happy people. I then got to spend more time with them at their engagement session, in downtown Scranton, and this is where I always grow a true attachment to my couples.

So once again when I found out I was pregnant I felt such mixed emotions about being so excited for my new little addition and sad to not be able to be with my couple on their wedding day. I gave all of my couples the option to either stay with Amanda Brooke Photography and use an associate shooter, or release them from their contract and hire someone outside of my company. I am happy to say that every couple was so understanding and decided to stay with me and use my associate shooter!

I have to admit I was a little envious getting these images back that I didn’t get to spend the day photographing Melissa and Mike’s wedding. How could you not be with how gorgeous they both looked, those HUGE smiles on both of their faces, beautiful wedding details, and not to mention a non-stop packed dance floor! My associate shooter, Jessica, messaged me on her way home from the wedding and said that had to be one of the most fun weddings she’s ever been to!
