Maiolatesi Winery Fall Wedding in PA | Margi + Pat
I recently had the pleasure of capturing Margi and Pat’s Maiolatesi Winery Fall Wedding in PA. I first met Pat and Margi when I photographed their Engagement Session at Marywood University in Scranton, PA. I had such a wonderful time capturing them during their engagement session and getting to know them. I’ve said this about a billion times, but I love doing engagement photos for my couples! It really helps them to get comfortable in front of the camera and helps us to get to know each other before their wedding day! After all I am basically the third wheel on their big day ;)
Margi and Pat are an amazing, sweet couple! Which makes sense, because their entire family was so incredibly welcoming and appreciative towards me. It was really refreshing to be around such people! After spending the day with Margi and Pat and their lovely family, it’s easy to see where they both got their kind-hearted and genuine nature! Their warmth and friendliness along with the fact that I grew up right down the road from this venue, made me feel almost like I was home - the feeling of being comfortable and familiar.
Maiolatesi Winery Wedding in PA
The Maiolatesi Winery was a gorgeous venue! The views from inside and outside the winery are spectacular! You can see the winery’s orchard as well as the mountain ranges and hill tops. It is an idyllic, romantic setting for a wedding! While I am not into wine, I’m more of a margarita girl ;) , being at the winery made me want to have my own wedding there! The staff, the food, the scenery was all incredible!
At their intimate outdoor wedding ceremony, Pat + Margi prepared their own wedding vows, which I love! I absolutely love to hear how couples first met and get a little sneak peek into their life together. Personal wedding vows are always touching and inspirational, especially since I don’t know my couples like their wedding guests do.
After the heartfelt ceremony, everyone moved to the winery event room, which was transformed with elegant, fall themed decor for the wedding reception. The tables were adorned with pops of fall colors and decorative pumpkins adding the perfect touch of fall! I loved the wine barrels that were incorporated seamlessly into the decor adding a touch of rustic charm.

“Fabulous. You made sure everything moved smoothly and things were happening as they should. You are kind and made us both feel really comfortable. Your humor is great and I loved how you engaged with everybody and not just with Pat and myself. You made my whole wedding party feel comfortable and kept them laughing!”
“Dancing with Pat. We were both so nervous leading up to it. When it came time to actually do it, we weren’t nervous at all and both really enjoyed it. It was beautiful!”
