Katelyn and Jesse Constantino's Wedding: Clarks Summit, PA
Boy sees a pretty girl in the hallway of their local high school. Girl smiles at the boy and the boy sneakily asks around to find out who this girl is. No, this isn't the beginning of a cheesy rom-com movie; it’s how my sweet couple met! Jesse spotted Katelyn in the hallway at school and asked everyone he knew who she was. Eventually Jesse found out who she was and requested Katelyn to be friends on MySpace (long before the days of instagram and facebook) However; Katelyn says they didn’t actually start talking until years later when Jesse posted a funny picture of a chipmunk in his house on Facebook. For some reason this video struck Katelyn’s funny bone and she had to comment! And from that single comment, true love bloomed and the rest is history!
Constantino’s Catering and Events
Katelyn and Jesse had a gorgeous wedding at Constantino’s Catering and Events located in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Katelyn loved this venue because it seriously is a full-service, one-stop shop. Located in the former Patsel’s Restaurant, the space has been given an updated, stunning new look that features a newly designed ballroom that features a gorgeous stone fireplace and oversized windows that provide magnificent views of the garden. The beauty of this space doesn’t just stop at the newly renovated indoor ballroom but seeps out to the jaw-dropping gardens. The gardens have both covered and uncovered blue stone patios, a lovely waterfall pond, and numerous walking paths throughout their multiple flower gardens. For a couple who is looking for stunning outdoor photos, there is no shortage of beautiful backdrops at this venue (just scroll down and look at their beautiful outdoor portraits!).
The Wedding
Katelyn and Jesse’s wedding day was absolutely perfect! Even though they weren’t a COVID couple, they still had to work around the ever changing COVID restrictions. For this lucky pair, restrictions were lifted right before their wedding and they were able to have the wedding they dreamed of! An outdoor ceremony with a lovely indoor reception! Sometimes, everything works out just the way you want it; you just have to be patient!
Katelyn was absolutely stunning in her off-the-shoulder, sweet-heart, lace, fit-and-flare dress. Jesse looked dapper in his grey suit. Together, the pair was just breathtaking. One thing I loved about this couple was their familiarity with each other. There was a deep sense of true friendship; a feeling that these two just enjoyed being around each other and that isn’t something you can always sense with every couple you meet.
One of my favorite things about shooting weddings is seeing how each couple incorporates their personalities and what’s important to them. For Katelyn and Jesse, their sweet dog, Milo, is their furr-baby. They do so much with their dog and it was such a joy to see them bring in Milo...even if he wasn’t physically a part of their special day. At the bar was a special sign titled “Milo’s Bar” with an adorable picture of Milo himself! Not only did Milo list all beverages offered but he had his own signature cocktail..’Milo’s Margarita’. What a creative, fun, adorable way to incorporate their pup into their wedding! I absolutely loved this!
Katelyn and Jesse, it has been an honor to capture not only your engagement but also your wedding! Your day was absolutely beautiful with no detail unnoticed. I wish you a lifetime of happiness!
