Alex and Stef Family and Maternity: Skytop Lodge, Pocono PA

One of my favorite things about being a photographer is capturing so many of life’s big moments. From engagements, to weddings and growing families there are so many moments worth celebrating. I feel so honored when I get asked to continually record these huge life milestones.

Alex and Stepf have a gorgeous blended family and are about to welcome their second baby together. I have been photographing this family for a few years now and I have absolutely loved watching them grow. I was super excited to find out if they are having a boy or girl. However, I have to wait like everyone else as they have decided to wait and not find out until the baby is born.

We took these family photos at the beautiful Skytop lodge in the Poconos, PA. This was my first time at this location and I can’t wait to go back! It is the perfect setting for all type of photos since there are so many different locations within walking distance. We started our session wandering in some trees, continued to a creek with the most perfect bridge. We made sure to get some pretty lake views in the background and finished our family session at the lodge which has some gorgeous stone architecture.

Stepf even did an outfit change and she looked absolutely amazing! This outfit change was such a fun way to get some solo photos of just this beautiful mamma.

Almost everyone here was team boy and I’m going to go ahead and give a guess for a boy too! We’ll find out soon if the men will continue to be outnumbered by women in this family. Stay tuned for some family photos when this little cutie arrives.
